This book is tightly bound in original navy boards with silver gilt lettering to the spine. The boards are clean and free from marking, with just a small amount of bumping to the spine ends and board corners. Inside, the pages are clean and bright, with no blemishes or wear to speak of. In all, this book is in excellent condition.
The book is housed in a Very Good dust jacket. There is some chipping to the spine ends and corners and rubbing to the panels.a crease runs along the top edge of the front of the jacket, and there is a slight scratch running down the bottom half. On the back panel of the jacket, there are a few white marks and a few small scratches. In spite of this, the jacket remains smart and tidy overall.
This is a smart modern first omnibus by Damon Runyon that, together with Runyon on Broadway would make up an excellent collection of his works.
