A Dictionary of the English Language by Joseph E. Worcester
Published by Sampson Low, Son and Co., London; 1859. Condition: Good.
Bound in half calf leather, there is general wear to the edges and spine, with some separating beginning at the bottom of the front spine edge. Other than these points, the binding is in clean condition.
Inside, there is some toning and age spotting to the pages, but they are otherwise clean and smart, with no damage apart from a few turned over corners.
In all, this is a smart example of this nineteenth century English dictionary and, with a little tlc to the binding, it would be an excellent addition to any collection.
