Dracula's Guest and Other Weird Stories by Bram Stoker
Published by George Routledge and Sons, London; 1914. 8vo. Condition: Good. No dust jacket.
This first edition, first printing is bound in original red cloth boards, with blind stamped design and title to front board and gold gilt lettering to spine. There is general bumping to the edges and corners and the spine has split down the back edge. There is the odd blackjmark and rubbing to the boards, but they are overall in tidy condition. As the spine has split down the back edge, the binding is in need of slight tlc, although internally it is in tact.
Inside, there are two small newspaper clipping to the inside of the front board, relating to the book and author from the years 1971 and 1976. and the birth and death dates of the author have been noted in pencil on the title page. There is some age spotting and slight toning to the pages, but otherwise they are clean and in excellent condition.
In all, with a little tlc to the binding, this will be a very smart example of this first edition by the popular horror author, Bram Stoker.
