Published by Michael Joseph, London; 1974. First Edition, First Impression. 8vo. Condition: Very Good/Very Good.
A smart example of one of Roald Dahl's gems for adult readers, containing two stories; The Visitor and Bitch. Other than some slight bumping and fading to the board edges, the original binding is in clean condition with no marks. Inside, there is an old bookshop label affixed to the ffep and some toning to the pages. Otherwise, the pages are clean, tight and free from blemishes and damage.
The book is housed in an original blue dust jacket. There is some minor bumping and chipping to the edges, a stain to the top of the rear panel and a couple of marks to the front panel. The jacket has been price clipped. It remains smart and in very good condition, however, complimenting the book nicely.
This book would be an excellent addition to any Roald Dahl collection, or a lovely gift for any avid readers.
