This smart example of this popular first edition by Roald Dahl is in excellent condition. Bound in it's original grey boards with gilt title to the spine, the binding is tight and clean, with just a little bumping to the edges and corners and a slight stain to the bottom edge of the front board.
Inside, the pages are clean and bright with just a hint of toning to the pages.
The dust jacket is in smart condition, clean and bright and free from marks. There is just a little bumping and chipping to the edges and a small tear to the laminate on the rear panel. Apart from these minor points, it remains in lovely, smart condition.
In all, this is a very collectible first edition of this much loved tale by the ever-popular author, Roald Dahl. This book would be an excellent gift or the perfect place to begin a first edition collection.
