The Posthumous Papers of the Pickwick Club by Charles Dickens
Published by Chapman & Hall, London; 1894. 8vo. Condition: Good.
Bound in half leather with green mottled boards and page rims, with gold gilt title and detailing to spine. There is some general rubbing and bumping to the binding, but it is in overall good, tidy condition. Inside, there is a label affixed to the inside of the front board for the library of the Royal Hospital for Incurables. There is some slight crinkling to pages, suggesting they have been wet at some point, and just some minor toning and the odd age spot. Otherwise, the pages are clean and in smart condition.
In all, this is a Good, smart early edition of this popular novel by Charles Dickens.
