Treatise on the Offices of Justice of Peace; Constable; Commissioner of Supply; and Commissioner under Comprehending Acts, in Scotland; with Occasional Observations upon Other Municipal Jurisdictions.
Printed for William Creech, Edinburgh; 1809. Second Edition. 4 vols. Condition: Good.
A smartly bound set of volumes which, other than some general age wear, are in good condition. The bindings are sound with minor rubbing and chipping and a little cracking to the spines, but otherwise mark free and in tidy condition. Inside, other than an ownership inscription to the title page of each volume, the pages are clean and in very good condition with just a little toning and the occasional age spot.
In all, this smart set is a rare find that would be a worthy addition to any nineteenth century book collection.
