Published by Pocket Books, London; 1995. Paperback. Signed by author.
This novel by Joseph Heller is the sequel to his novel Catch 22 , published in 1961, and includes many of the same characters later on in their lives, now fighting 'The End'. This novel is 'chilling in its depiction of the moral collapse of the Western world as well as very funny in its black comedy.' Well worth a read for any lovers of satire and dystopian novels.
This first paperback edition of this book is in Very Good+ condition, with some general bumping and creasing to the covers and spines, as common with paperbacks, and some toning to the pages internally. However, it is free from any real damage of marks other than this and has barely been read. It is signed by the author on the title page and, for authenticity, comes with the pamphlet for the signing event at Waterstones at which the book was most likely signed.
This is a very nice modern first paperback edition, signed by the author, and would be an excellent purchase for any reader of Joseph Heller or lovers of black comedy and dystopian writing.
