Bound in original cloth binding with imprint of Hemingway's signature to the front and title to the spine. There is some minor bumping to the spine edges and board corners, and some marking to the rear boardOtherwise, the binding is tight and in smart condition.
Inside, the pages are clean and free from blemishes or damage, with just some toning to the pages, as expected in books of this age. There is an ownership inscription to the ffep dated 1940, and an unknown signature to the title page.
In all, this is a very smart example of this very collectible edition by Hemingway, and it would sit well in any collection.
