Published by Harper Collins, London; 1999. Signed First Edition.
This modern First edition by Bernard Cornwell from the popular, televised series, Sharpe, is in Fine condition. It is tightly bound in it’s original red binding with gold gilt title to the spine. There is perhaps the slightest hint of bumping starting at the spine ends, but this is barely visible and is the only point to mention on an otherwise perfect binding. Inside, other than some minor toning to the pages, the book is in equally Fine condition internally wth no flaws or marks to speak of. It is signed to the title page by the author, reading: “For Alf, in Friendship - Bernard Cornwell”.
The book is housed in a Fine dust jacket. It is in almost perfect condition, with just some very slight rubbing visible in places. Apart from this it is free from wear and tear and has no marks visible.
In all, this is an excellent example of this modern first edition that would beautifully compliment and Sharpe collection.
