The Works of William Cowper. Poems. By The Rev. T. S. Grimshawe. Vol VII only
Published by Saunders and Otley, London; 1835. 8vo. Vol VII only. Condition: Good.
This volume is bound in brown leather blind stamped to both boards and with gilt title to the spine. There is some bumping to the edges and corners, and mild rubbing, with a small amount of loss to the spine. There are white marks to the rear board.
The pages have some mild toning and age spotting to them, as to be expected in a book of this age. The frontispiece is an engraving of Cowper’s mother, by E. Finden, and to the title page is an engraving by the same, of East Dereham. Apart from the toning, the pages are well bound and clean and bright.
In all, this is a tidy copy of this volume, which would fit neatly into any collection.
