Published by William Heinemann Ltd, London; 1960. First Edition, First issue, with words "First published in Great Britain 1960". Condition: Near Fine / Near Fine.
This first edition of the literary classic by Harper Lee is in Near Fine condition. Smartly bound in it's original boards with title to the spine. The binding is smart and free from marks, with just a hint of bumping to the corners and edges. Inside, the pages are free from damage and marks, with just slight toning to the pages and darkening to the page rims, as typical in books this age. There is a neat ownership inscription to the ffep reading "Wills".
The original dust jacket is in excellent condition, clean, bright and unclipped, with no marks or damage other than some slight bumping to the edges and mild fading to the spine.
In all, this is an excellent, highly collectible example of this first edition of the popular modern classic, which won the Pulitzer Prize in 1961.
